PADI Open Water Scuba Diver

Prerequisite: must be 10 years old or older
Open Water certifications allow divers to dive as deep as 60 feet. In this entry level certification course, individuals will learn the fundamentals of diving and how to dive safely in open water. Students begin with an online course designed to effectively teach all the knowledge based information and preview the skills that will be applied to confined and open water settings.

Course Requirements:

1. eLearning of fundamental scuba concepts
2. Minimum of four to five confined water (pool) sessions
3. Four open water check-out dives (typically over two days) if completing your certification with LSC

• Mask
• Snorkel
• Boots
• Scuba Fins
• Underwater Timepiece
• Surface Marker Buoy
• Optional: Dive watch
