British Virgin Islands - July 2021

The summer of 2021 marked a landmark moment for LSC, as the world began its slow reemergence from the Covid pandemic. In response to the widespread cancellations of travel plans, LSC sought to offer a new type of adventure, one that was both unique and exciting. With this in mind, LSC chartered two magnificent catamarans in the idyllic Caribbean, setting sail for an seven-day and six-night odyssey around the sun-drenched British Virgin Islands.

With a complement of 20 vaccinated guests and two pristine 50-foot catamarans, the LSC charter trip was a luxurious and immersive experience, offering guests the chance to dive, swim, snorkel, cook and socialize in a safe and controlled environment. The group also played an active role in preserving the local ecosystem, using lionfish spears to hunt and remove invasive lionfish from the area, and even hosting a bonfire on a secluded island. The trip reached its emotional crescendo when one couple was moved to exchange their vows in a touching ceremony on a serene sand spit island. The following year, with travel restrictions lifted and restaurants and bars fully operational, the LSC charter trip reached even greater heights. As a testament to its success, LSC plans to continue this type of adventure in the future, with expeditions to Cuba, Croatia and Greece already in the works.
