We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

Shopify processes payments securely. We do not store full payment details.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Refunds and cancellations are subject to our Refund Policy.

For scuba courses and trips:

  • Deposits may be non-refundable.
  • Late cancellations may incur fees.
  • No-shows are typically non-refundable.

Specific terms will be provided at time of booking.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Scuba diving is an inherently risky activity that can result in serious injury or death.

By participating in any course, trip, or activity offered by Learn Scuba Chicago, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with scuba diving and related activities.
  • You are responsible for your own physical condition and fitness to dive.
  • You agree to follow all instructor guidance and safety protocols.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learn Scuba Chicago shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in our services.

Participants may be required to sign additional liability waivers before participating in activities.

7. Medical & Fitness Requirements

You agree that you are medically fit to participate in scuba diving activities.

If you have any medical conditions, you must consult a physician and provide medical clearance where required.

Failure to disclose relevant medical information may result in removal from a course without refund.

8. Certifications & Training

Certifications are issued through recognized agencies (e.g., NAUI, PADI).

  • Certification is contingent upon successful completion of all requirements.
  • Instructors reserve the right to withhold certification if safety standards are not met.

9. Equipment Use

If renting or using equipment:

  • You agree to use equipment properly and return it in good condition.
  • You are responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear and tear.

10. Third-Party Services

Some services (e.g., travel, certification agencies, payment processors) are provided by third parties.

We are not responsible for third-party policies, actions, or services.
