Gift Card Policy

Gift cards purchased through Shopify are subject to the policy posted on Shopify’s website: https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms-gift-cards.

Gift cards are valid for 5 years from the date of purchase.

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift certificates, as purchased in the past, have been converted into Gift Cards in Shopify. Customers can purchase a gift card in the amount of certification which can be given to a person of their choosing. Gift cards are subject to policies noted above in the ‘Gift Card Policy.’

Refund Policy

Courses:

NAUI: eLearning cannot be refunded if the course has been activated. In this case, LSC will only be able to provide a partial refund for pool/open water sessions (if applicable) - and only if no pool/OW sessions have yet been attended. The partial refund will be:

$375 if full Open Water certification was purchased; or,

$275 if referral Open Water certification was purchased.

Learn Scuba Chicago will retain $150 for academic cost and restocking fees.

PADI: course can be refunded only as long as no pool sessions have been attended.

Either course can be fully refunded regardless of pool attendance IF there is a signed medical exemption from a Primary Care Physician (PCP). The customer must provide a written and signed (preferably stamped) document; the reason is not required.

Equipment:

Learn Scuba Chicago accepts returns of any items purchased in-store up to 30 days after purchase with receipt, along with the customer paying a 10% restocking fee. Item must be unused and unopened.

Any items purchased in-store can be exchanged for any similar item up to 30 days after purchase with the receipt. The customer will either pay the difference or be refunded the difference in the price of the items.
